Didn’t See It Coming

This album came out on my birthday, February 28, 2022. This album is very similar to Flip Flops with lots of participation from my band, my kids, and even my wife. Like the rest of my albums, I never really performed this live. I mostly just enjoy playing with my band in the studio or with my kids in the living room. Performing live is too stressful and a lot of work. One hightlight of this album is that Ben and I did a lot of work on it together. He helped with editing and mixing as well as adding sax, melodica, and a vibraphone part on “Inside Your Sunlight.” I was also able to collaborate with Jonathan Mpata Kallombo and Dr. Paul. A lot of credit goes to my band who were always ready to show up and add parts.
